I had the most relaxing weekend, and for some reasons, all I wanted was to stay indoors. I chose to stay away from looking at any sales to avoid the temptation of using my money. And to be honest, I don’t feel like I missed anything. As a marketing student, I do feel such days are important as they increase business sales. But on the other hand, I do also think that advertising for Black Friday is aggressive, annoying and overwhelming. They are everywhere, and it drives me crazy! Don’t get me wrong; there can be some great deals. But one thing to keep in mind is that there are deals all year around.
Age might influence my shopping habits lately, but I decided to skip Black Friday. Instead, Axel and I watched a movie, and as I mentioned on my Instagram, we fell asleep 15 mins after it started. Last week felt intense for both of us, and our body needed some rest. It was a great excuse to stay away from crowds in shops and overspending. How do you feel about Black Friday?
I haven’t mentioned it to you, but last week, I bought a new camera; Canon EOS 6D Mark II. When I saw it launch last year, I knew I had to get it. My old Canon 1100D is a beginner camera, and over the years, my photography evolved. It shaped how I envisioned my pictures. And because of this, I made the switch from a crop sensor to a full frame camera. Low light performance in dark surrounding has been my favorite so far. I can’t wait to share pictures shot with my new camera. Below are images shot during the past few days.
As always, Thank you so much for reading!
